Why we started
Too many homeowners have the same story: a builder who stopped returning calls, a job left half finished, or three different trades who never spoke to each other. Can't Do It Yourself was set up to be the opposite: one team that plans the work, turns up when it says it will, and finishes the job.
How we work
Every project starts with a free site visit and an itemised written quote. Once you’re happy, we agree a start date and a programme, and you get one point of contact from start to finish. Our trades work together, so the electrician isn’t waiting for the plasterer and the kitchen fitter isn’t waiting for the plumber.
Gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers, and electrical work is tested and certified to BS 7671. Where building control approval is needed, we arrange it.
