Do I need planning permission for an extension?
Many single storey rear extensions fall under permitted development, but limits and conditions apply, and flats and listed buildings are different. We’ll help you check, and the Planning Portal is the official guide.
How long does an extension take?
A typical single storey rear extension takes around 10–16 weeks on site, depending on size, specification and weather. You will get a programme with your quote.
Can you work from my architect’s drawings?
Yes. We regularly build from architect and structural engineer drawings, and we can recommend designers if you don’t have them yet.
